In October 2025 the ICE List put a name to a face in a video from the Canal Street vendor raids in Manhattan: Brenden Cuni, a supervisory deportation officer with ICE's National Fugitive Operations team, running enforcement in New York and New Jersey. Over the next two months we logged him at a street detention on Jerome Avenue in the Bronx, at the wrongful detention of a U.S. citizen in Minneapolis who city leaders said was stopped for looking Somali, and in video from Minneapolis in which agents forced a woman witnesses said was pregnant to the ground while, as we wrote at the time, Cuni pointed his Taser and his gun at the surrounding crowd.

On 31 December 2025 we ranked him seventh among the worst ICE agents we identified that year. We wrote that his "conduct has escalated notably since his identification in October", that he had been observed "displaying unsafe firearm handling, and threatening protesters", and that as a senior agent he "actively legitimises" abuse rather than stopping it. In June we placed him at an Oklahoma gun ranch alongside Border Patrol's David Kim, where it appears ICE had been training with members of the public.
