Israeli forces and Israeli terrorists, commonly referred to as settlers, injured 148 Palestinians, including six children, across the occupied West Bank in the week of 13 to 19 October, according to the UN humanitarian office (OCHA).

Israeli forces injured 92 of them and Israeli terrorists injured 56, and OCHA recorded no Palestinian deaths in the period. On 13 October, Israeli forces injured 59 Palestinians, including two children, mainly through tear gas inhalation, during an eight-hour operation in Ramallah city, and raided and closed the offices of a Palestinian human rights organisation.

Israeli terrorists carried out 83 attacks across 48 communities in the week, causing casualties or damage to homes, a mosque, at least 151 olive trees and other property.

Of the people injured, 74 were hurt in the context of attacks by Israeli terrorists, including 69 during olive harvest incidents. On 14 October, Israeli terrorists set fire to a mosque in Mikhmas village, northeast of Jerusalem, smashed its windows, sprayed anti-Palestinian slogans on its walls and burned a nearby vehicle. On 17 October in Ma'in, near Hebron, nine Palestinians were injured and Israeli terrorists stole 139 sheep from four animal pens.

The 2026 olive harvest officially began on 15 October, and OCHA documented 272 harvest-related attacks by Israeli terrorists between 1 September and 19 October, with one Palestinian killed and 200 injured. That total already exceeds the 224 attacks recorded in the whole 2024 season and the 185 in 2025.

Israeli terrorists beat a foreign journalist with sticks at Khirbet Abu Falah in Ramallah on 16 October, and on 17 October masked Israeli terrorists attacked European diplomats and municipal representatives accompanying farmers at At Tayba. Israeli police arrested 10 suspects on 19 October, and by 22 October nine had been released to house arrest.

Israeli authorities demolished or forced Palestinians to demolish 21 Palestinian-owned structures in the week, displacing 37 people. Of those, 32 were displaced by demolitions carried out for lack of Israeli-issued building permits, which are impossible for Palestinians to obtain, including three refugee households of 16 people, 10 of them children, in At Tur in East Jerusalem. Another five people lost their home on 16 October when Israeli forces fired tear gas canisters into an apartment in Kafr Malik, Ramallah, starting a fire that made it uninhabitable.

Israeli occupation restrictions on movement and access continued to cut Palestinians off from land and medical care. OCHA reported that Israeli forces and road closures blocked an ambulance from reaching a Médecins Sans Frontières staff member injured in an attack by Israeli terrorists on 15 October in the southern West Bank, and the worker had to be taken by private vehicle to meet an ambulance.

The World Health Organization recorded 146 attacks on health care in the West Bank from January to September 2026, killing four people and injuring 43, along with 131 instances of obstruction of health-care delivery. In Beit Ijza near Jerusalem, Israeli forces stood by on 15 October while Israeli terrorists forced farmers off their groves behind the Barrier and stole their harvested olives, in an area where farmers must obtain prior coordination from Israeli authorities.

Since the start of 2026, OCHA has documented 2,159 attacks by Israeli terrorists causing Palestinian casualties, property damage or both, an average of 7.4 a day compared with five a day in 2025, and Israeli terrorists have vandalised 14 mosques. Israeli authorities have displaced about 1,790 Palestinians through permit-related demolitions this year, 668 of them in East Jerusalem. UNRWA, citing OCHA, counted 1,138 Palestinians killed in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, between 7 October 2023 and 6 October 2026, at least 250 of them children, and 91 of them since the start of 2026.
